About me and Gaia Oasis - Bottle Garden
About me My name is Simon. I am the creative mind and executive behind Gaia Oasis. Everything from A to Z comes from my own hand. As a child, I practically absorbed my love of nature with my mother's milk and live it every day in my job as a tree surgeon. As a one-man company, Gaia Oasis is my contribution to the development of an awareness that brings people closer to nature and to themselves. Each product is a unique, handcrafted piece. A living work of art that invites you to marvel, research and meditate. To this day, I lose myself when looking at my lamps. These oases not only serve as stylish lighting elements, bottle gardens, plant terrariums, Wabikusa and to beautify the room, but also to improve the quality of life. Oxygen is produced, the humidity is kept in a pleasant balance and suspended particles are filtered out of the ambient air. The greenery contributes to rest and relaxation and has been proven to increase creativity as well as physical and mental recovery processes. Nowadays, the performance-oriented society that is urbanized in many parts leaves little room for authenticity and closeness to nature. Gaia Oasis is my project to integrate the feeling of beauty and awe that people feel when looking at nature into a useful and beautiful everyday object.
The company
Gaia Oasis is a start-up founded in the Black Forest. The workshop in which each oasis is made by hand is located in the listed Klosterbergfabrik St. Georgen in the Black Forest. Artists, young entrepreneurs and creative people meet here to realize projects in the fields of art, culture and health. There are not only numerous workshops but also yoga courses and regular markets with local products, as well as a fitness studio. The rooms can also be rented for events.
